Morning/早晨/ Zou San!
I wake up every morning at nine, or ten, or eleven – it depends on my schedule. I always aim to sleep till the last moment possible. Then I get up, get dressed and am on campus within (hopefully) half an hour.
As a journalism student, my classes revolve around doing things very quickly while facing a deadline. I like to think that my morning routine trains me for that.
Morning HK is my final year project for my degree at the University of Hong Kong. Through this website, I want to tell stories of people – what they do in the morning, what they eat for breakfast – and use that as a platform to talk about their lives and other issues.
Hong Kong is a city of contradictions and I hope that by putting the extremes side by side, I will be able to paint an honest picture of society here.
